Urology Conference in Georgia

On May 30, 2019, The Fourth International Conference organized by Rhazes Global and supported by KOÇ HEALTHCARE, on Innovations and Recent Advances in Prostate Cancer treatment was held at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel. More than 100 foreign and Georgian delegates took part in it.

The purpose of the event was to bring foreign and Georgian doctors closer, to exchange knowledge and ideas, to share the latest medical achievements, and to clarify difficult cases. Therefore, the lectern of the speaker was open to attending Physicians, allowing them to share their practice on specific disease treatment plan development, surgical and post-operative treatment.

Following topics were discussed within the project:

• Extended pelvic lymph node dissection with ICG injection during robotic radical prostatectomy
• Multiparametric magnetic resonance imaging (mpMRI) of the prostate and MRI guided biopsy
• Robotic prostatectomy with specific cases

Among the attendees were students from different universities, they had the opportunity to get acquainted with the latest medical approaches, to ask questions to the leading specialists, since we acknowledge the role of the next generation in the development of medical services.

Moreover, Invited physicians provided free consultations for Georgian patients before the conference, as changing patient’s perception of cancer is our company’s priority.
