Ali Fahir Özer M.D.

Graduated from Medical School of Atatürk University in 1976, Prof. Dr. Ali Fahir Özer completed his residency studies at Hacettepe University in 1982. He received his Associate Professor and Professor Degrees in 1988 and 1994 accordingly. He was the head of Kocaeli University neurosurgery Department in 1994-1995 years. He is working at Neurosurgery Department of American Hospital since 1995 and currently is a faculty of Koç University Medical School Neurosurgery Department. Prof. Dr. Ali Fahir Özer is the member of associations as  North American Spine Society and Eurospine. He is the author or co-author of over 200 papers and 24 book chapters, also editor of 7 books as well as several Academic journals. His main research interests are dynamic stabilization of spine and spine biomechanics. He paented several spinal products, which are used in spinal surgery.
