Emre Balık M.D.

Born in 1973, in Gaziantep, Prof. Emre Balik from I.U Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1997. He completed his General Surgery residency at the same university in 2002 and worked there from 2002 to 2010 as a research assistant and then from 2010 to 2014 as an Associate Professor. Meanwhile, he underwent minimal invasive surgery and colorectal fellowship and College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University, New York, between years 2004 and 2005. He received his Associate Professor and Professor degrees in Surgery field in 2010 and 2016, accordingly.  He is also the holder of a board certificate from European Society of Colo-Proctology. He has been working at Koç University School of Medicine General Surgery Department and VKV American hospital, since 2014.
