Fatma Nilgün Kapucuoğlu M.D.

Born in Istanbul in 1964, Prof. Fatma Nilgün Kapucuoğlu graduated from Ankara University Medical School in 1988, after which she completed her Pathology residency at Pathology Laboratory of Ankara Oncology Hospital, in 1991 and worked there as a consultant pathologist for 1 year. Her working experience includes, 4 and 6 months fellowships in breast pathology and immunohistochemistry accordingly, at Nottingham City Hospital Pathology Department, in 1994 and at Bologna University Bellaria Hospital Pathology department in 1995, working at Etlik Maternity Hospital in 2000-2002, at Süleyman Demirel University in 2002-2013, where she was the head of pathology department in 2005-2013, and at Acibadem Healthcare Group between years 2013 and 2017. Prof. Fatma Nilgün Kapucuoğlu received her Associate Professor and Professor degrees in Pathology field in 2004 and in 2005 accordingly. Since 2017 she is working at Koç University Hospital.
