Hülya Kayserili Karabey M.D.

Born in Istanbul in 1960, Prof. Hülya Kayserili Karabey graduated from Istanbul University Medical Faculty in 1984. She underwent Family Medicine trainings at Sişli Etfal and Bakırköy Training Hospitals, as well as training of Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases from 1988 to 1991. She continued her doctoral studies at the Institute of Children's Health and the Institute of Health Sciences at Istanbul University. Between years 1992 and 2004, she was a consultant at the Istanbul University Prenatal Diagnosis and Research Center and then from 2004 to 2015 served as the head of clinical genetics block and pediatric genetics division at the Department of Medical Genetics, of the same University. Prof. Hülya Kayserili Karabey received her Associate Professor and Professor degrees in the field of Medical Genetics in 2000 and in 2009, accordingly. Since 2015, she is working at Koç University School of Medicine Medical Genetics Department.
