Levan Gogichaishvili was born in 1974, in Tbilisi, Georgia. Graduated from Tbilisi independent institute “VITA” as a General practitioner physician in 1998. 1998-2001 years he completed Primary training in general surgery at Tbilisi State Medical University. He participated in scientific project of liver transplantation and liver regeneration mechanisms in Regensburg university hospital, Germany. Since 2007, he is the Research fellow in Living donor liver transplantation at Institute of Morphology. From 2016 he is the Member of Transplant Council of Health Ministry of Georgia.
2019-onwards he is the Head of General Surgery and Surgical Oncology Department at HELSICORE.
