Aleksandre Lagvilava M.D.

After completing his general surgery residency at N. Kipshidze University Clinic Dr. Aleksandre Lagvilava started working at the general surgery faculty at the same clinic. His international experience includes participating and running master classes in Germany, Portugal and Ukraine. Between years 2009 and 2012 Dr. Aleksandre Lagvilava was the Minister of Healthcare of Abkhazia. From 2012 to 2018 Aleksandre Lagvilava was the head of Surgery Department at the National Center of Surgery. Since 2018, he is working as the head of Surgery Department at Caucasus Medical Center.
