Benan Çağlayan M.D.

Born in Istanbul, in 1959, Dr. Benan Çağlayan studied at Kalamış Private High School. In 1982, He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. He underwent through Chest Diseases residency at Chest Diseases and Thoracic Surgery Center of Heybeliada Sanatorium, in Istanbul, in 1988. His working experience includes working as pulmonologist at Chest diseases Hospital of Erzurum and Military Hospital of Diyarbakır between1988-1990, as well as at Heybeliada Sanatorium from 1990, and as a head of Pulmonology Department at Dr. Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital between 1998 and 2015. He visited LungenKlinik-Hemer and Thoraxklinik-Heidelberg for upgrading his qualification in endobronchial ultrasonography, interventional pulmonology, and bronchoscopy. Dr. Benan Çağlayan received his Pulmonary Medicine Professor degree in 2016. He has been working at Medamerikan Medical Center and Koç University Hospital Since 2015.
