İhsan Solaroğlu M.D.

Dr. Solarogly is Neurosurgeon and academic staff member at Koç University Neurosurgery Department and also Basic Science Research Adjunct Professor at Mecical School of Loma Linda University, CA, US. His main clinical interests are neuro—oncology and neurovascular surgery. Resarch topics Dr. Solaroglu focuses on, are growth factors in neuroprotection, spinal cord injuries and traumatic brain injuries. Scientific journals such as Stoke, the Journal of Neuroscience Research and Neuroscience, have published his research. He is the author or co-author of more than 70 papers, he has 50 presentations ans over 950 citations (h-index:17). His countless awards include Prof Raja Award for Young Neurosurgeon and AACNS Young Neurosurgeon Award. He was the Chairman of  WFNS World Congress 2017 and is thepresident of  IBNC. Dr. Solaroglu is the advisory board member and reviewer of several scientific journals as Spine, Acta Neurochirurgica, Experimental Neurology, Stroke and Neurological Research.
