Prof. M. Sarper Karaküçük completed his medical education at Ankara University Medical School, part of his internship at St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, and his specialty training in Ophthalmology at Erciyes University Ophthalmology Department. He became an Associate Professor in 1999 and Professor in 2005. Prof. Karaküçük has been serving as an Ophthalmologist and the director of the Ophthalmology clinic at Anadolu Medical Center since 2015.
He also holds the degree of AME, Aviation Medical Officer which authorizes him to examine pilots as well as other aviation personnel, and also is the director of the Aviation Medicine Center at the hospital.
