Mamuka Kobalava was born in Tbilisi, in 1966. In 1972-1983 he graduated Tbilisi N1 high school in 1983 and State Medical institute, faculty of Therapy in 1990. He completed heart echo training Course at Ultrasonography Study Center in Tbilisi, in 1997 and Training course in Transesophageal echocardiography in Florence, Italy, in 2005. Since 2017 he is the Head of Transthoracic Echocardiography post graduate teaching course at Tbilisi State Medical University. From 2019 he is the Head of Cardiology department at Helsicore.
