Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital, founded more than 80 years ago by Dr. Carlos Jiménez Díaz, has been in concert with public health since 1953, through which it provides public health services.
Jiménez Díaz Foundation University Hospital develops a policy of excellence in quality with a focus on continuous improvement established in the methodologies and systems of the Integrated Global Management System based on international ISO standards, being recognized with the granting of three certifications Quality, Environmental Management and Energy.
In addition, since 2016 it has based its global quality model on the integration of the EFQM European Model of Excellence and the aforementioned UNE-EN ISO standards, and in 2018 it obtained the Madrid Excelente seal and became the first and only national hospital, public or private, of its level of complexity and investigative and teaching character in obtaining the EFQM 5 Stars Excellence in Management recognition with more than 650 evaluation points.

The fertility unit is led by a team of professionals with more than 25 years of experience in the field of assisted reproduction and whose objective is to offer the best quality of diagnosis and treatment options for infertility. It covers all aspects of assisted human reproduction, from insemination to IVF with preimplantation genetic diagnosis, through egg and sperm donation. From ovulation induction to artificial insemination with partner's semen or bank semen, IVF, egg donation and the most complex techniques of In Vitro Fertilization, ICSI and Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis, to be able to choose healthy embryos and avoid transmission to your future children.
