Mikheil Omaidze M.D.

Mikheil is a faculty head of Iv. Javakhishvili Tbilisi State Medical University. He has 30 years’ experience. Since 2018, he has been working at Regional Hospital as head of the ophthalmology department. In his career he has performed 20,000 surgeries, yearly approximately 2500.

After graduating from Tbilisi State Medical University, Dr. Mikheil Omiadze completed his ophthalmology residency in Moscow. “Artificial Collagen Lenses” was the topic of his dissertation. Dr. Mikheil underwent through internships in Austria, Germany and USA. He is a faculty head of Ivane Javajhishvili state medical university and has 30 years’ experience with 20,000 surgeries on his account. Since 2018, professor Mikheil Omiadze is the head of Ophthalmology department at Caucasus Medical Center.
