Orkun Müftüoğlu M.D.

Dr. Muftuoglu was born in Ankara, in 1975 and graduated from Medical School of Ankara University in 1999. In 2003, Dr. Müftüoğlu completed his ophthalmology residency studies at Vehbi Koç Eye Hospital. His international experience includes trainings about refractive surgery of cataract, vitreoretinal surgery and advanced refractive surgery, at Baylor Medicine College in Houston in 2003, Duke University in 2006, and Instituto Oftalmologico Alicante in 2007 accordingly. Also, clinical fellowship of Cataract-Cornea Refractive with USMLE Texas Medical License, in 2007-2009 years, at Texas Southwestern Medical Center university. He got his associate professor and professor degrees in 2009 and in 2015, accordingly. He is mainly focused on complex cataract surgeries, advanced refractive surgeries, keratoconus-corneal surgery, combined glaucoma and artificial cornea, and also vitreoretinal surgeries. He is working at Koç University Medical School and Koç University Hospital as ophthalmologist and ophthalmic surgeon since 2016.
