Rejin Kebudi, M.D.

Born in Izmir, in 1958, Prof. Dr. Rejin Kebudi graduated from Faculty of Medicine of Ege University with honors. Between years 1983 and 1985 she completed her obligatory service. She finished her specialization in Child Health and Diseases in 1990 and got her Associate Professor and Professor Degrees in 1993 and in 2000, accordingly.

Her international research and working experience includes NYU (New York University), University of California New York Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, LA Children’s Hospital and Nijmegen University in Netherlands.

Dr. Rejin Kebudi is a founding member of TPOG (Turkish Pediatric Oncology Group) and used to serve in directors board of the organization in 1999-2011, and ran organization in 2009-2011 as the President. Also, she is an active member of organizations such as American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Children's Oncology Group, SIOP (International Society of Pediatric Oncology) where she is the member of education commission and serves as a chair of Support Treatment Working Group, TPHD and THD, and MECC (Middle East Cancer Consortium).

Currently she is the Faculty member of Istanbul University Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Department, Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty, Istanbul University Pediatric Department and Oncology Institute. She serves as a Pediatric Hematooncology consultant at Children’s Clinic of American Hospital.
