Figen Gürakan , M.D.

Born in Ankara in 1958, Dr. Figen Gürakan graduated from School of Medicine of Hacettepe University in 1981 and completed her pediatrics residency at the same institution in 1985. Between years 1986 and 1991 she worked as a pediatritian at Adana Maternity Hospital, after which she completed her second residency in Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutricion, again at  Hacettepe University School of Medicine in 1994. She received her Assistant Professor and Associate Professor Degrees in 1995 and 1997, accordingly. She started working at Hacettepe University School of Medicine as a Professor of Pediatrics in 2002. She is working at VKV AMwrican Hospital Pediatrics Depratment as pediatric gastroenterologist, hepatologist and nutritionist since 2011.
